along the flower bed this year mum's bringing stuff to plant this weekend, next year it's gonna have a compleet revamp.
slabed section for where the bins are, along the border of the drive is about a foot more concreet (thats why the grass wont grow there) so i'm thinking pebbles or wood chipping, then one massive flower bed with whats left as it's mostly weeds with a few tuffs of grass and the other tennents have said they have returffed it several times and it just dosent take :(

hopefuly Hywel! Its going to take lots of sketching and talking with the other tennents (i have to remember its their front yard too sometimes!) and the building super but we've started throwing ideas around and coming up with positive feed back so far.

Go for it girl! So long as you have an edge to step on when getting out of a car (which you have) the rest is for planting.
My edge comes right to the curb and I've planted it with low growing varieties of Thyme and Marjoram which tolerate being trodden on occasionally and smell wonderful when you do!

i've had to change my plan a bit, so far i've planted up some roses i got from sainsbury's (those pot roses, they were reduced even tho they still had buds to open, i split the plants so i got 5 yellow and 4 red!) so far but the stuff ma brought over for me is now going in a different patch to stop that pesky gardener dumping rubbish instead of clearing it away properly! I have potted up some seeds of things to go with the roses tho, just waiting for them to come up now.
