Thanks, all - it's really a summer bed, except for the forget-me-nots. It's at least three weeks ahead from normal!

WOW this is exatactely what I'm trying to achieve. If you don't mind me asking what are some of the plants you have in there?

Oooh-errr - that's a difficult one. Hmm...At the back on the trellis I grow Clematis. In front of that, is a Chinese Privet (evergreen). I have Lupins, Delphiniums, Aquilegia, Verbascums, Polemoniums, Phlox, Euphorbia polychroma, Hesperis, Alliums, sweet peas and more Clematis on the obelisk, Persicaria 'Red Dragon', Baptisia australis, Galega, several hardy Geraniums, Osteospermum jucundum, Dianthus, Forget-me-nots, and small violas right in the front. Oh, and a Lavatera and a purple leaved Hebe.

Probably not all - I'm sure there are more but that's from the photo and my memory. I hope that helps?

Well, it's a very large flowerbed! lol.

Wow impressive, thank you so much, I will have to look them up and make a shopping list. :0)

Oh, and I forgot Oriental poppies and Irises. I don't know how - people have liked the Iris that's in there!

Good luck with your list. Have a look at the seeds, too - try Nigella and Candytuft which will both give you some flowers later this year.
