This is what happens to a tall Australian Tree fern which doesn't receive enough water here. It will die soon if it doesn't receive a lot of water or rain! We're suppose to receive copious amounts of rain over the next 5 to 6 days...which should help it. Photo taken Dec. 13, 2010 in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA.

Terratoonie:
I'll post a pics if the tree fern does survive the drought. I hope it does survive, I hate seeing such a tall tree fern die! :>(
Maybe a baby Sausage tree will be posted...but sure about the tinsel though. :>)

What else?
See who else is growing Cyathea cooperi (Sphaeropteris Cooperi) - Australian Tree Fern.
See who else has plants in genus Cyathea.

If the rain helps this tree fern to perk up, it would be interesting to see another photo...
I'm waiting patiently for a pic. of the baby Sausage Trees, decked out with Christmas tinsel...
Please don't disappoint, Delonix... I'll be looking out for the photo... LOL. :o)))
