Hope you've got lots of space for it! I know it's a fairly short-lived shrub but only lasted two years in the muck I call soil - even after adding tons of grit and compost.

I'm trying Lavater Maritima 'Bicolour' now as it is smaller so I'm going to keep it in a pot and give it some winter protection. They all flower for such a long time.
