They use to have one on a bridge in Bradford upon Avon for the drunks, also there is one house that use to be used for the same thing just up the road from me, its called the Gaol meaning Jail.

Thats interesting Sixpence, Bradford on Avon is not far from me, I hadn't heard of it.

I learned of it as one of the cricketers who I use to work for moved there to run a pub, my daughter had home work to find famous bridges and I came across it on searching old books I have. its in the centre of the bridge in Bradford up on Avon.
