This is Henry who lives in Coalburn, Lanarkshire and he made this garden to celebrate his daughter's wedding.
He is a member of the Scottish Begonia Society and he has won the multi pot class in the begonia section at the Ayr Flower Show in Rozelle Park.
I judged the begonias that particular year.

I used to travel up to the Aye show each year and I stayed in Coalburn at John Hamilton's home.
There was a wonderful old couple who took all of the prizes at the Coalburn annual show and I have not seen such quality brought from a back garden.
They were truly champions.
