the reason... last year when we planted the carrot seed we had an almighty wind which blew them all away.. forward thinking!! got some rainbow carrots to plant purple carrots how bizarre!!

mmmm it is!! I lifted it up the other day to water it and an almighty gust of wind came and early ripped my arm off! The joys of living in Derbyshire! They are only just poking thro so not really anything exciting to look at yet!

Rainbows.....do you have pics yet...? lol...try telling the insurance people about that one..." lost my carrot crop to the wind"...lol. sorry to hear that though... so I guess that lovely cap is well nailed down?
