I hope you uncover some old garden treasures as you reclaim this garden? Perhaps a secret brick path lingers on below the wilderness good luck.

"Naturalization" is the way of the future. It takes courage to start a new trend and I hope you stick to it... Congrats! but why would this pic be featured on weeds? are wild flowers weeds?

I thought SM meant its an unkempt garden that has been neglected? Which is it SM?

Weeds are definately wild flowers!! We have sown more this year. But I admit we didn't start the trend.... the garden did that all on it's own :-)

Will remove it from weeds SM

In the foreground are sweet peas gone to seed, and in the background crocosmia, phlomis, golden rod and lavatera. So definately not weeds :-) However we did sow a wildflower patch further up the garden last year to bring in the bees. The lucerne was particularly beautiful. Also I have a tray or two of mixed wildflower seedlings and some ox eye daisies to plant out this year......somewhere.
