Petunias have come back quickly - they've been flowering for 7 months now and it's only mid-spring so they should go on for some time yet.

It is extraordinary - by and large, I yearn for nothing any more, except perhaps dolly mixtures, but whenever I look at your pics, Bernieh, back comes my old yearning to go to Australia - it was always the one place I really wanted to go.

Knowing your background Bamboo - you would have a glorious time seeing all the tropicals and natives growing outdoors. Hope you do get the chance to visit one day ... in the meantime there's a few aussies and a couple of NZers on here now who will show lots of photos for you to drool over.
You should visit Pitta and her daughter's website also - great photos of some amazing tropical plants.
