raised beds

spent all day shoveling topsoil compost and manure into to my new raised beds, I asked a friend to build some beds for me with exact instructions on where they were to go and how big etc, I forgot to mention how high to build them. I came home from work to find to beautifully built beds but a tad too deep, I didnt have the heart to tell him, but just made sure he came back today to help me fill them up, phew! I think it was one of the hottest days of the year today, not exactly ideal for shovelling earth. Still all done now and I have planted some of them up already, havent got a clue about growing veg but I guess it will be a case of trial and error. Wish me luck!

aye , the beds look fab, im gona go with raised vebs for the veg next yr

Good luck with your raised beds. I've seen the photos and I think they're great.
