Update on the little mouse!

so do i ~ strange that he hasnt gone further into the box? perhaps he has no more energy ~ lets hope he warms up and feels better

Sad news.... :-(
When I went out to the porch this morning to check on the little mouse, he was still in the box that I had made for him but had passed on sometime last night. :-((((

He was buried at the edge of my yard and I planted a Pansy as a tombstone a few inches from his final resting place. {eyes watering}

I know, it was just a mouse, but a little kindness to God's creatures can go a long way sometimes...

oh, im very sorry to hear about little mouse ~ i feared that may happen but you did your very best N2o.

you tried, that was enough. I have done this sort of thing so many times with just about every kind of animal/bird/reptile/insect that was brought to me & so many dont make it, but you try if there is reasonable hope. Nature is harsh, survival of the fittest an all that as we well know but thank goodness for the folk who will at least give up some of their time & try.
