I was exploring the end of my trails that I had cut through the woods and spotted an absolutely beautiful native flower in the fields.

Does anyone know what it is?

its a form of thistle and i used to know its name,it grows wild in a little village up near peterhead,realy pretty isnt it

Look at this link below it shows many different thistles It could be a meadow thistle, Cirsium dissectum. You may be able to id yours from that site. Please let us know what it is. It is a beautiful colour.
