About me

I found an unexpected passion for gardening 7 years ago when my husband and I moved into our current home on the Ayrshire coast. This is our second home together but our first with a garden. I remember thinking "what am I going to do with this?!" But it turns out I really enjoy it! I had big plans back then... vegetable patches, fruit trees and a greenhouse, etc. But I went and had 2 children so those plans are taking a while to materialise :)

Now Joseph is 5 and Freja is 2 so they enjoy running about the garden getting covered in mud! Im keen to share my love for the garden with them and we are growing lots of yummy fruit and veg so that they can see where some of their food comes from.

I'm very much a beginner and have a "let's see what happens" gardening style!
