Possible Polytunnel Guardians!

I must have looked such a twit photographing these in my local GC……but couldn’t resist. You see, Stevie needs a poly tunnel guardian…….so…..
What about…..
Something a little quackers?

Or a bit whoo whoo? Maybe I WAS being a big of a twit?!!

And who couldn’t resist something top of the market? No?

Something to guard our sandwiches when we visit!

Or something to eat them All up?

Have you chosen yet Stevie? A bit slow?

Hows about something yappy?

Hmmmm, nope I don’t think so!

Now this might do the trick! It has night solar lights too!

Or we could choose the gentle route. She can magic all the slugs and snails away!

Maybe Stevies oven glove puppet would be best….eh!

I do do somethings productive at the GC. I bought seeds and cloches!

But I did see a true poly tunnel guardian…..

She was watching me from the dog bed dept all the time!
Now there was another cat, actually asleep on a Polytunnel but blow me down, what a pity the photo hasn’t streamed through to my computer!

Aha! Just found her! Legit Polytunnel guardian!

All rather pricey!

Just added true poly tunnel puss cat!

Yes I know....Gnuts has already got the job! But this one really made me giggle! Bt not as much S the surprised cat in the dog bed I pulled out!

I was looking for birthday presents for Sluggy who is three tomorrow! She wants streak and chips at our local tomorrow!

true poly tunnel puss looks quite a bruiser! there would be no mice eating the plants!

did you wake the other one up lulu?

wow sluggy you will be doing well ~ steak and chips!! and maybe a new bed?

Decided against the bed.....had already spent e ought money! She has a pack of dried meat treats instead!

9 Apr, 2013

she cant sleep in a dried meat treat packet!!!!

9 Apr, 2013

But she can eat it without being spanked (as if!)

9 Apr, 2013

birthdays are for treats!!!

does she sneak into Pru's new bed?

9 Apr, 2013

She prefers our bed!
It's a bit of a weird bed. Pru leans against its high sides and it nearly turns over!

oh dear ~ a tipsy bed! have to wedge it in somewhere?

9 Apr, 2013

I have wedged it in between table and chair!

Just the mention of slugs and snails...I saw my first slug of the year last night after the rain.
Q. How many slugs and snails would fit in a med sized terrarium?

BTW made just the best, most delicious chicken broth yesterday! Thought it might calm my e cig cough and splutter.....

Think the meercats look good, they are real guardians and always on the look out! Great blog Lou. and yes i'm sure people were looking at you! Lol

11 Apr, 2013

I dont like the meercats, people will think i'm selling insurance. The owls are nice, wise n keeping an eye. Shall I change from my Ziggy Stardust doors?

11 Apr, 2013

Lol Stevie, hadn't thought of that, just know they are sweet creatures that are always on the look out! Did you ever watch Meercat Manor? I love that cockeral with the big eyes!!

11 Apr, 2013

I think the cockerel with the buggy eyes! He lights up at night! Solar panel on his back! I need one for my studio steps in the winter!!

12 Apr, 2013

We were at our GC today and saw similar items Lou, also saw that large cockerel with big beady eyes and thought of you!!!! :)

12 Apr, 2013

I can see a challenge here, visit to local GC and take a photo of the most ridiculous garden ornament you can find ; )
