Naughty, naughty Millie Puss! I knew she probably wouldn’t catch my trusting wood pigeon!! So couldn’t resist photographing the episode!

Who me? As I shouted at her through the window to lay off!

A little stalking action….big bird oblivious!

Millie cranes her neck, ready to go for it…

Ha! Thank goodness! All fine except I missed the shot!

The big fat pigeons are so slow sometimes it always makes me wonder how they survive in my garden when my cats are in stalking mode....
Smashing pics Lulu..

Your Millie puss always makes me feel a little sad because she looks so like our old puss , we still miss her I still haven't been able to take her photo / avatar off to change it after all this time ,it would feel as if it was the end of her :o(

Me too Hywel! The sparrow hawk has already killed two wood pigeon. I just hope that this remaining one, one keeps out of its way and two, can find itself a mate"

lol you can't take the jungle out of a cat - love the intensity of her poses. shame you missed the shot but as long as she missed the bird ...!

Oh Millie puss you have been caught on camera!

Minty caught a pigeon once and took out its tail feathers, it was a messy fight but the pigeon got away!

Great pics & excellent narrative, Lulu.
Thought it was cats that had 9 lives? Lol.
One lucky pigeon. ;-)

Millie, I think has 7 lives left. She lost one of them when she climbed on top of telegraph pole, see ancient blog! And another time I had to cut a collar off her when her foot got stuck through it. Approaching sometimes evil feral cat with scissors in hand takes some bravery.
Am glad to see that wood pidge has 2 new mates.
