Seen some wonderful Cactus Photos here on GOY that Members Hywel, Sandra, Trees&Things, Mikec & Drfadin have loaded of their own collection & so today i purchased My 1st three :)

Only £2.98 which i thought was good :) They were pot bound so i repotted them with some Cactus Soil

They Look Healthy & Happy Now but how do i keep them this way ? Any advice very much appreciated,Many Thanx Jac x

A Big Thanx Hywel :) what about the Little Stones/Grit some have around their base ? should i buy some & do the same Hywel ? :/

You could put grit around the base. It may help to prevent roting of the stem but it's not essential. It looks nice though. Also make sure you have plenty of drainage in the pot.

In summer plenty of sun. Water well but allow soil to dry out in between waterings.
In winter keep cool but frost free. Give a good soaking about once every month in mild weather only. Give full sun in winter if possible.
You've got 3 nice ones for a start Jacque.
