There are lots of self seeded Aquilegias in my garden but I think this is the prettiest one :)

It’s growing in an old sink …

Yes, it is nice.I,particularly like blue flowers.
My aquilegia (new this year) really haven't done well at all .Looking very tatty ....maybe the cold or the wet soil, not sure.

That's a beauty. This year I have a couple of dwarf ones - (the flowers are huge) The label on the one new this spring says its not winter hardy, which I didn't notice when I bought it, it was just so beautiful I couldn't resist it. But the other one did come through the winter - may not be so lucky in a colder one.

It's a pretty one Hywel. I love the way they seed themselves around the garden.

And Grannie's Bonnet is a good name. The women working on the Canal Boats wore bonnets exactly like it. I suppose they made them by hand.

I found quite a few seedlings, think they have come from my neighbours garden, I am looking forward to seeing what colour they turn out to be. I have one in the herbaceous border at the back.

I have been banned from the garden for the last couple of days, caught OH's cold, so have been coughing and sneezing away. Hopefully it is on its way out. I hope so we have a funeral to go to on Monday.
