The shed's out of bounds then!

LOL.. oh Eileen you will have to ban yourself .... I think it might get use to you they are clever at doing that !

They do get used to people in close proximity. I don't know if it still happens but a pair of swallows used nest on the pipework about two feet above your head in the outside toilet of The Anchor at Canewdon. The toilet remained in use all the time, and it never seemed to bother them. They did this for a number of years.

We had a Swallow build above our back door under the porch at our last house Toto , a couple of times it flew in the kitchen by mistake and I had to shake it out of the cats mouth , no damage done fortunately , she was holding it very gently :o)

~Caz and Gary have wrens and then swallows in the roof of their large open porch which is in daily use~we had a little wren fly in once but opened the window and it was back outside in a twinkling~.I think it had been startled by the outdoor light~doesn't stop them they come back every year~both sets of babies are so cute!

That's lovely Arlene.
Well done to you Amy for rescuing the swallow from the cat.
Irish. I think your just making excuses. No one can prove that the paint really is in the shed, right?
