11th July 2009. Grown from seed. Beans are a much deeper purple now.

Thanks David :o) We had them for dinner last night and tonight, will have to leave the remaining one to fatten up a bit now though.

How did these taste? I've read that they are less tasty than green ones but, never having tried the purple varieties, I don't know.

They were delicious, much sweeter than super market beans. I've never grown green ones so I couldn't say either :o)
