Yes Karen its not worth me growing them really as I only have a small space but I was interested to see what it was like to grow them :-)

Yes, me too, same. I did them two years ago in a very shady spot and they grew beautifully. Very easy and reliable crop but like you, I don't really have room. Need all my space for my peas, beans and salad leaves!

A friend has been growing pea shoots from dried peas. They look really lovely and so easy to grow. You can eat them in salads and they make a lovely garnish. I bought some dried peas today to try myself and have them soaking overnight. I'll let you know how I get on with them Karen.

Good Richard....I have mange tout out in the beds already and I heard last year of eating the new shoots. I'm going to let them grow normally though for now. I just love home grown peas! a particular favourite is wholemeal pasta with pesto, peas and parmesan and a dash of creme fraiche.....yummy!
