About me

My husband and I are both retired and have lived in our little bungalow in Essex for 14 years and we have a fairly large garden - about 100 foot - it used to be longer but we have added a conservatory. When we moved in the garden was very scruffy but after lots of digging and hard work it is now my sanctury. I spend time every day either working in my garden or pottering in the greenhouse and like to take my own cuttings and collecting seeds in order to supply my large family the following year with pretty hanging baskets. My favourites are fuchsia's and I am trying to collect as many varieties as possible by taking cuttings of any new ones I find in friends' gardens.
