About this plant

Genus: Dicentra.

Species: Dicentra spectabilis.

This is not the common short-flowering dicentra spectabilis but a recently introduced cultivar, which i think is really the best dicentra to date. The large rosy-red lockets are held above the beautiful, blue-green ferny foliage. Best in partial shade and good fertile, but well-drained soil.only grows to about a foot tall
