Genus: Zantedeschia.

Species: Zantedeschia albomaculata.

I was not expecting much of the calla but it has proven itself. the first purchase was three corms...and each autumn since my store of calla corms has grown. Now have three large clumps... the blossom is beautiful but short lived... I'm most impressed with the foliage and the lovely white spotted dark green leaves that add a distinct perpendicular line to the garden bed...A portable favourite too...if you are in a garden which you don't own..you can dig up the corms and transport them quite easily
