Born in N W London always liked gardening in 1953 won best garden in the road (Alysium ,Lobelia & Salvias for the coronation) Married in 1965 to Linda who also loves gardening and we moved to Essex, in1992 we moved to Fingringhoe Essex, 1994 started opening garden to raise money for charity.1999 joined the N G S.We did a program for ITV they were looking to see how the NGS organisers chose a garden, in 2000 we did a BBC tv programme the First of the Flying Gardener Series.2019 will be our 20th year of opening our garden for the NGS & we still enjoy it as much as the first time.TUDOR ROOST 18 Frere Way Figringhoe CO57BP garden listed in Essex NGS.
