We have so much water in NZ .....Part I

Life is very busy for me at the moment, so not able to come onto GoY as much as I used to. We are having a heat wave here & there is a hose ban due to drought conditions in the area I live in. Have not seen rain for weeks. The garden is really suffering, but am managing to keep everything alive watering the general garden every three days & newly planted & delicate plants every second day. So hardly anything flowering, about from the hydrangeas at the front, which have given a glorious show for weeks, but are now definitely on the way out. So this is a blog to celebrate water in NZ ….or to be more precise …..falling water …..translated into waterfalls. We have a plethora of waterfalls in NZ. They are everywhere & they come in every shape & size. Not all these photos were taken by me, but they are all in the public domain & do not have copyrite on them. Mmmmmm ….makes me feel cooler just looking at them.

Fantastic! Reminds me of a holiday we had in the Pyrenees - waterfalls are everywhere there ... one was so tall and narrow that it was nothing but mist by the time it reached the bottom of its fall. Lovely pics! :o)

The waterfalls are wonderful. It's fascinating how the rock formations occur and cause the water to cascade over them.
