Was this the day after yesterday?

Well, woke up this am to grey cold weather again!
The previous three days had been warm and sunny, OH, [with his sciatica] painted the garden furniture white again after the ravages of winter [and the pigeons in the fir tree] varnished the benches and got out the chairs, cleaned the table outside the kitchen door, and declared summer had arrived! Not quite yet.
It’s our wedding anniversary today so for a treat we went to the Ocean[cold, blowing a gale, and spitting rain].
We had to do that to earn the pleasure of coming home again! Anyway we had some chips and took refuge in the chip shop with several little families who must have thought that it would have been the day after yesterday and had come to the beach.
It is OH’s birthday tomorrow so we are having a familiy “get together” in a local pub so all is not lost. The weather may not be good but all will be well [I hope.]

Congratulations to you and your OH,on your wedding Anniversary.It is cold here too,but it has been a bonus to have had this past weeks weather..just makes you feel good,doesn't it ? hope you have a lovely day tomorrow :o)

Sorry to hear of your bad weather. It's been glorious here.
Congratulations on your w. anniversary. I love the sea when it's rough and especially if it's raining :o)) Calm weather is boring.

Thanks to you all for your good wishes, hope you have a lovely day, too. The sun has shown itself since 1pm, and the men outside have finished mending the road, so off we go....

Glad you had a nice day out Driad and celebrated in style, this weather change is difficult to cope with isnt it? I gardened with no coat on yesterday, but today it was too cold so have not been out there at all :~( Enjoy the pub, much warmer in there!!!
