About me

I began my interest in gardening as a child visiting my Grandfather he was a keen gardener with rose beds a small orchard a very productive vegatable garden & a patch where he once kept chickens, his greenhouse seemed huge full of tomatoes grown on what I now know was a system of ring culture & hundreds of geraniums all grown from cuttings that he would sell to raise a little extra money.
My interest was rekindled around the time the late Geoff Hamilton was on the telly & I had my 1st garden to look after.
