My First Post On Grows On You ~ March 22, 2009

Hi there,
I live in Upstate New york with my husband of 18 years, two teenage daughter’s, two cats and one dog. I’ve been playing in the garden for as long as I can remember. I’m originally from California, where the weather has ideal gardening conditions. Since our summer’s in New York are rather short, I try to spend as much time as possible outdoors. I love antiquing, painting, sewing, decorating, reading good books, being with family, traveling, and being with positive minded, and happy people. I just joined GOY last Friday and everyone has been very kind. I look forward to posting more pics and meeting more gardening friends from all over the world.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes, It feels so nice to have so many new friends where we can all support and help eachother for the passion/ hobby we all share. When this pic was taken we were all on vacation in California in late August several summer's ago. We are definately a camera happy family as we each own one! The girl's are always posting their pics on Facebook, you know how it is! Well, I'm hoping that the temps warm up again this week, my daffiodils and tulips are trying to make a lovely appearance for me and others to appreciate. TTYL...
