About me

Piece by piece I'm taming an overgrown garden on a hillside with fine views from the top. The last bit will probably be cleared in about 2015 approximately, so it's a very long-term project.

The "pink garden" was followed by "the volcano" where all the fiery coloured flowers were banished to blaze away together. It looks pretty good but the brushwood fencing caldera walls are threatening to blow away.

Next project was to build a Cornish hedge to stop people wandering into the garden, looking for a way to the village. Now I'm making a virtual stream as the idea for making a solar-powered stream wasn't feasible.
I just need enough low growing, long lasting, blue flowered plants to flow down the hillside. Cerastium tomentosum is making a good "waterfall".

It might work... :-)
