Daffodil. No 3D trumpet?

By alextb

I photographed the daffodil bekow this morning and thought that it was quite unusual as the trumept is not 3D. It looks like it has been printed on. I have just been informed taht it is in fact a Division 11 split corona daffodil.

I have never come across one like tis before. How about you?

These look a bit like a narcissi that we used to have in our garden when I was growing up. They are lovely, little cheery flowers, Alex...and they look so pretty in the planter alongside the ivy too.
