Ok so it’s been a while since we updated our page with new photos but as you’ll see the garden has come on leaps and bounds in the last year.
We’ve tried to add photos here that show the transformation. We hope you enjoy and feel free to comment on any aspect as it’s always good to hear other people’s views whether positive or constructively negative.
The following shows the state of the lower half of the garden when it was a boggy mess and how we’ve transformed it into a much more practical patio area which no longer suffers from poor drainage…this included adding steps down from the upper to lower terrace.

That's a brilliant job...weren't you lucky to get all that decking out of a skip?....brilliant! It looks really lovely now. Didn't Aitchie do a great job with the saw?!

I also love the steps with the slabs and gravel, they look very smart and quite unique...great idea!

He even created the steps by sawing through the turf! The steps themselves are actually made out of an old set of bunk beds that we salvaged and recycled - you'd never tell what was under there!
