About me

I live and grow in Florida, which is great because I can grow year around but it does come with challenges. I have been a gardener my whole life and my specialties are herbs and unusual plants. Plants that are not suppose to grow in Florida. Since Florida is so hot in the summer, it is a real challenge to keep some plants cool enough to last the summers. Such as my apple and cherry trees.

I grow lots of herbs and flowers (for my butterflies) and I like to trade seed with others as well as cuttings, and share any new ways of gardening I have come up with. (I like to try a new way every year). I have just about every book there is on gardening and spend time in my garden reading them.
