Back at it!
Back at it!

Well, after three and one half weeks of company (my parents), I am back to blogging a bit.
The garden has sure had enough moisture this year so far. Last year we were in drought, now this year – it’s almost too much.
Right now, the poor garden looks like ‘The Garden of Weedin”. We’re going to have to spend oodles of time pulling weeds. However, I’m thrilled with my lilies, the raspberries are doing great, the hydrangea looks beautiful, and my Rose of Sharon is almost ready to bloom. Yippee.

These gardens sure can get away from us in the weed department while we're otherwise detained. Then it seems we're starting all over again to clean them up! :) I have several Rose of Sharon's in the back, they look very healthy, leafy, green as can be.....but I see no flower buds yet! :( Welcome back! (by the way)

It must have been nice to have your parents staying with you but it must also be nice now to spend some time gardening. Sorry to hear your weather isn't up to scratch. It's the same here. Rain all the time.
