Working in the garden

Posted on 4 May, 2008 2 comments

Well – we have been busy for the last 3 weekends working really hard in the garden, thought we would have been well in to planting but alas has taken ages with the pond and working out the best coverage with the boggy garden what with 4 dogs we had to stop all the mud !!!. Not everyones cup of tea but we had to do some coverage with stone, now we can get lots of pots – any suggestions for flowers for pots?? we want lots of vibrant colours

I,m sure a warm dry summer is out there somewhere.

Red Geraniums are my favourite along with white trailing Geraniums. Or Bright orange Zinnias with some nice varigated trailing plants to complement.

I bought some Anagallis plug plants this year and one of each has a flower on it today. They are so bright you might need your sunglasses on! They are trailing plants and would go with Zinnias and white Marguerites to cool the pot colours.
