Well now what a nice day. Sat in palace (Shed) 3 picture frames cut sanded glued and now awaiting varnishing. Still haven’t got round to my experimental bird feeder yet though. Muffin trotted in then vamoosed when i showed him the empty biccy tin. Not right really , i will have to get Tiny to remind my good lady about it (LoL). Ho,HO HO, that should get him in it up to his neck. Birds were frantic eating the grease balls on the line. Think our local (Tubby) Robin wants to help with my joinery project as i caught him looking into the palace window. Just realized where Lincslass got the chipolatas from , it was in my blooming blog. Things here are getting pretty desperate now i am down to my last sugarfree mint . Any way hope you all enjoyed the day as much as i did. Take care enjoy Tony

Who's a pretty boy? I had a gorgeous green budgy when I was an older child in the 60s. I named him Pinnochio (have no idea why). We had him for nine years, if I recall correctly. They make wonderful companions. Three cats in our household now (not to mention 2 dogs), so would not have one now, but still think they are very pretty.

We seem to go through a lot of fat balls here. Like you we also have a cheeky robin. Pity about the mints.

Tiny is pleased he doesn`t have to share with the robin and all your outside friends Tony, you`ll have to talk nicely to your good lady for more biccies, have you tried bribery, perhaps there is a job needing doing that will earn you a new packet of your favourites, lol....
It was a lovely day here as well and yes very enjoyable, our robin has also returned to the feeder, my blackbirds are enjoying the fallen apples and the doves are feasting on sunflower seeds all home grown although I have saved a few for next years flowers......

We've had a lovely day here in Lincolnshire again. Its worrying me now, I hope we don't pay for this later! By the way Tony, are you practising for a new job later this year with your HoHoHo's ! lol.

Hi Dwyllis Nice when one has pets. I like all pets but am not so keen on reptiles. Dogs ,cats , budgies, are all great but when Tiny allows me to read the morning paper i have to remove animal cruelty pages for my good lady. Neither of us can understand how humans can be so cruel. With the weather getting colder i always keep the feeders topped up for the Robins,Blue tits, sparrows ect. We lost both our doggies (Sheltie and mongrel) so we settled for Tiny. Take care enjoy Tony

Hi Linda 235 I got a full on Bird chorus today Linda it was very nice and noisy. It makes woodwork much more pleasant to hear the birds. Mints now accompanied by two portions of Rum chocolate . Blimey i feel a bit drunk (LOL). Take care Tony

Hi Lincslass Great idea about the bribery suggestion but afraid my plans all go to pot when my good lady smiles at me. I could with pleasure attempt to bribe Tiny but alas Muffin i think pre warns him (LoL). Great to hear there is plenty of natural food available for your wildlife. Take care enjoy Tony

So you talk too much do you! Hahaa! I thought it was just us ladies who did all the chatting! Or is it a senior moment and you need to write out a shopping list! Begorra indeed! What would Elizabeth say! Hahaa!

19 Oct, 2012

Hi Rose Would,nt know where to start with a shopping list Rose. My good lady puts list on breakfast table and points towards the dining room door. I respond rapidley knowing that the sooner i complete my mission the sooner i get my lunch. The added bonus is i don,t get into trouble. For a mere humble chap i think i deserve a medal at the speed i travel through the door. Take care Rose Tony
