Thought I would show Pics from last weekend…

As you can see the walls are going up, and the drive is going down..

And all hands are on deck :)))

The walls and drive are finished and I LOVE it, But there’s still loads to do, wer’e waiting for estimates for the wrought iron, I can safely say we need a new Lawn and there’s still loads of clearing up to do, oooh and the top thingies for the posts, Then the real fun begins,, The Planting.. Woohoo..

Wondered how things were going YDD - cant have been easy during this weather but good progress being made.

Wrought ironwork and beautiful plants to come - such fun and great that you love it , wonderful to have so much to look forward to.

It looks great , I like the brickwork both on the walls and groundwork , they are good bricklayers ... it,s very exciting for you to get such a major job done , please let us see it when you have your plants in . .. :o)

Thanks All you lovely peeps for your interest, Yes i am excited and only yesterday i had my spade out and digging round the tree stump, but today it Snowed! Sigh.. Wrought iron man (sounds like a Superhero) came last night and gave us a fantastic price.. ( hes a Friend) so its a go for that, hubs picking the post top thingies up tomorrow and all the rubbish will be gone by saturday, then i can level the lawn area ready for the new lawn Wayhay.. As for the border and planting round the chopped down tree area, oh forgot to say the bricky built a fab wall round that area,. I have a Plan, A sort of modern Cottage Garden theme, A mix of Evergreens, Phormiums and grasses, Perennials, Hosta's, im still looking for ideas for the perennials! and I Deffinatley want some Foxgloves, I have sowm some Datura seeds (purple) and i need to go shopping for more seeds, Pink, Cream and Purple is what im aiming for... Suggestions most Welcome :) .. Dee..
