Can anyone help my daughter please, her in laws gave her garden vouchers for Christmas and her Mother-in-law suggested she bought mini veg plants, has anyone grown mini veg and if so are they worth growing, many thanks,the other thing is do Mini Veg take up as much room as conventional veg

Cannot help you Yorks I'm afraid, have seen the results in the supermarkets but not seen the seed. If you tap into google the words mini vegetable plants lots of sites come up, hope this helps.

Nor me, could you just use ordinary veg and pick them young, like baby carrots and courgettes?

I'd never heard of mini-veggies, only mini-plots! I did a google, and found this: there are sections on growing veggies on windowsills and patios. maybe not mini-veg, but ...

Ive seen the seeds in GCs, I think Suttons do a range called "patio Veg" ideal for pots & containers.

I think they are just smaller versions of the normal veg Yorks. I have some mini cucumbers, just come through,. so we will see what they turn out like.

I'm growing dwarf beans. I don't know if that's classed as mini veg - they're called Tendergreen.
