Eggxcited :-)

Can’t believe it, Chooks only 19wks old & look what I found this morning.

In the last photo I have put a shop bought one (on right) next to my first chooky egg.
Mine is smaller but a good size for a first egg.

I am so thrilled.
Now what to have for tea: Fried, poached, scambled?

Yes Pam, when thier comb & wattles get to full size & go from light pink to red.
Carrots is the only one like this at the moment so thats why I think it was her.
I gave them a tin of sweetcorn for being clever girls, Lol.

I will be over the moon if I get an egg a day from each of them :-)

If you scramble it you could blow the egg out and keep the shell intact.
