I think Hanky Panky is probably my favourite, despite her naught name, (whatever do you mean karen lol ?)she has a lovely perfume and the bees like her too, closely followed by Gerty.

They are all beautiful, but I still choose hybrid teas as winners.

Ooh,sorry Julia..how come I missed this one,I wonder? same way as I miss lots more,I guess ! I didn't realise you had so many Roses..I only have a lonely Patio rose now..as I went over to 'care free' (almost) Perennials...I do like 'Larks Ascending' and 'Wisley' best ..just beautiful :o) x

Thanks Sandra...confession time...in the last seven days I've bought a new standard plus two shrub roses from that place in Wakie beginning with H. and also visited a GC in Silkstone where I bought another one...that now brings my total number to 21 lol! ...that's not bad for someone who once said she'd never have roses, far too much faffing lol!

ps. Did you spot what's growing in front of Wisley? :0)

I think you need some therapy for your Rose addiction ,Julia ! I know you said you had space for two more standards..but looks like you have found some more room for others as well ..what are you like ?? I hadn't noticed the Cerastium (snow in summer) till you mentioned it..:o)
I bought three Carnations from a well known supermarket in Meltham yesterday, for £1 each..na na nana na !:o) x
