Mary Berry would be proud!

I watched a programme where she was showing her grandchildren how to cook something, she seems a nice person

my childhood pastry was "for the birds" poor things couldn't get their beaks in it!

Whoa! She's growing too fast! Those cookies look amazing! I have a craving now! A cookie craving!

Funny you should say that TT she's already started doing a bit of Cross Stitching!

I always think she comes across as a nice person Pamg. Lol! my pastry is like that now!

Tell me about it Karen. She insisted on putting icing and sprinkles on the cookies, even though they shouldn't have.

Bathgate; She was thrilled...and they did taste nice :)

Hywel; They were :)

Oh thank you BA, that's a nice thing to say :)

Thanks Bloomer. Her hair is actually halfway down her back now and has a natural curl and highlights I'd kill for. The Cookies soon disappeared lol!

Doesn't she look happy? What's the good of cookies if you can't cover them with decorations anyway.

They look yummy and Freya is delighted as one can see by the look on her face. Well done Freya, you are spoiling daddy and grandad.
I used to have to smuggle a copy of whatever pastry my grandchildren had made into the oven so it was suitable for eating, I remember the very grey, solid treasures of their own efforts going out for the birds when they weren't around, also the excitement and the pride when everything came back out of the oven, can remember Lizzie making Winnie the Pooh (Always her favourite) one time and silly nannie turned him into Rupert by mistake by adding a scarf, now that took some explaining I can tell you, we laugh about that now....
Happy days and I miss them, make the most of them Waddy they fly past, Lizzie is 18yrs old in Aug and will be off to Uni and her brother George will be I5yrs in Sept, my babies are all grown up .....

Gralew; I don't think I could stop her, she loves it!

Stera; She's always happy when she's busy and no matter what she makes she has to add her own twiddly bits lol!

Lincslass; She told both Granddad and Daddy they could only have one as too many would make them fat lol! I had to laugh at your Winnie changing to Rupert. I can remember my son, Chris making scones, which were more like rock cakes and how he watched us eagerly, to see our reactions while we almost broke our teeth! It seems only yesterday, but he's 37yrs old now...you're right time flies by. :(

What a beautiful smile. Please could I borrow your lovely little Freya - I have a 21st birthday cake to make before the end of the week as well as a selection of cakes for the nearly 21 year old to take to her workplace beforehand! Said nearly 21 year old is a bit cack-handed when it comes to cooking so Freya would be a great asset :)

Lol! I'll see if she's free Gee. If not good luck with the cake etc, don't forget to post pics.
