What a day!

The weather has been fantastic today so I have made the most of it by being outside all day.
Yesterday we finished off putting our new fence panels up and today I put up my £11.00 bargin gate that I found on ebay a few weeks ago.

Once the fence post were in place we had to wait for them to set.

Panels up yesterday it was then on to the bargin gate.

It is positioned in the arch that I had made several years ago now, in amongst the fir trees at the bottom of the garden. We didnt need a gate, we just thought it would look nice. You now walk through the gate to the veggi patch and down to the wildlife pond. I planted some spare daffs and forget me knots on the other side of the gate so there will be some early colour to draw you through, before all the hot summer colour plants start to put in an apperance.

Making the most of the weather this weekend it was then on to the lawn edges.

This always makes the garden neater and tidy looking.

Just waiting for the warmer weather now like everyone else.
