Gardners world

Ive just recieved an email from Gardners World magazine, saying they would like to print some photos I sent them of my garden before and after.

We moved here in June 06 and there wasnt much in the garden but lawn and an old shed/summer house.

This year however it now looks like this. (Well it did in the summer)

I sent them a selection of others as well. This was in November.
Today they were in touch asking if I had any higher reseloution ones. After having a trawl through the pics on my computer I found some but I’m not sure if they are good enough.

Hopefully I will find out soon. I have also asked them if they do print them, is it possible to let me know when so I can keep an eye out for them.

I have the magazine delivered anyway but it’s still nice to know so I can tell friends at the garden club and also you guys.

Fingers crossed.

What a marvellous transformation T&t, did you design it? you must have a very good eye. Do let us know if/when it is in GW, fingers crossed for the pics :-)) Forgot to mention, I love your slabs too, perfect with the furniture:-)

When we moved here June 06 there were about 6 slabs in some gravel where the patio is now.
I then had to look around all the builders merchants/stores until i found the right ones.
Wicks had them. We then bought enough for a patio and some more earlier this year to take the path to the wooden arch.

The design was to hide the shed and greenhouse. Everything just got sort of planted. A lot of the plants came from friends/car boots and village sales etc. Its only now I'm in a position to start putting in what I really want and pass on the bits I dont want.

Fingers crossed it will be in the mag, I will let you all know.

Look forward to it:-)
