Visitors to my garden, large and small.

Since the weather is a bit dull, and apart from getting the rake out every other day at the moment to collect leaves. I thought I would spend some time going through my photos.

Here are a selection of some of the visitors that have visited my garden. All the photos have been taken by myself over the last couple of years. Some are good and some are a bit blurry as it was an old camera plus I didn’t want to scare some of the visitors away, so they were taken from indoors.

As I said some are big some are small.

Some are friendily and you are happy to see them and some you would rather never have in your garden but that is gardening, a balance with the good and the bad.

And finally if you are still looking then the heres last few.

I hope you enjoyed looking at the visitors to my garden.
Lets hope they all come back next year.

What a selection of critters you have there, some to make you shiver others quite cute. Each one with its own purpose whether we like them or not.Our gardens would be a poorer place without them :)

Oh my goodness! A badger in broad daylight! Why don't ours do that - they wreak havoc in the night - but I've never seen one!

Yes - I did quiver a bit at some of them - but what a lot of different ones you've spotted and photographed. Thanks. :-))

Sorry guy's the the fox is real, but the badger is made from recycled chicken wire.

The fox pic was taken the other year, he came a couple of times and then one morning I saw him leaving the garden with his vixen.

Ponty, there were two Jays that came that day. I couldnt belive it as I was just passing the window and I caught it out of the corner of my eye. I rushed for the camera and caught them just in time.

Louise I also dislike the vine weevils. The plant was an echeveria that wasn't looking so good. I was going to pot him on until I realisedthere were no roots to re pot.
I have sinced found out that using grit on the surface is a good deterant as the vine weevils dont like sticking their bottoms into the grit.
