a few things that are going on at the moment…

Close pic of the Mexican Orange flower.

flowers on one of my Choisya shrubs

A nice wallflower i though, scents lovely too.

The Centaurea Amethyst Dream..

Closer detail of the Aubretia flower.

Through a forest of Lilies..

And as it’s me i’ve got to put some grass into it, Bunnies Tail or hare’s tail.. Lagurus Ovatus..

A bit closer to show just how soft and fluffy these are..

The good old London Pride, or Saxafraga Umbrosa complete with a hair from Millie :-)

Close pic of the Mecconopsis Horridula, aptly named..

A lovely Geum from Homebird, Queen of Orange..

Of Course the Silybum here are doing well too.

The gardeners worst nightmare weed, dandelion, but before you think i’ve gone mad… that happened years ago :-) these are different, one is a red leafed variety and the other is a pink/yellow flowered one, both have low germination rates so don’t become a problem..

that’s about it for now so thanks for looking…

Those are great photos, Warwick. The Mexican Orange flower looks almost waxen and the London Pride close- up is excellent. I've managed to get a couple of the Bunny Tails from you to germinate but, in order not to try the patience of everyone who isn't growing them, will PM you for further instructions.

Flowering garden is the gardener´s dream, Slad, isn´t it? Lol. I love closer detail of Aubrieta and also detected hair across the flower - are you sure, it is the one of Millie, detective Colombo? ;-)

Aren't your plants early - the lilies are so tall already. I loved the closeup of the London Pride - a small flower its so easy to ignore. I would never have thought of doing that so thank you for opening my eyes. I just sat and looked at it... Small is beautiful.

Lol Kat call off colombo must be Millie's as the girls are brown and blonde and I'm nearly bald :-))

Thanks Steragram I love close ups as so much beauty can be missed, yes the lilies are a little forward but I have them in long tubs by a sunny wall.

Cheers Paul, yes mate things are looking up :-)

One day I'm going to wake up from this terrible nightmare to find days upon days of glorious sunshine & wall to wall carpets of lush plants & flowers. ;-)
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, your blogs, comments & photos give me hope of a better future.
They just keep getting better every time.
Those, who are about to garden, salute you!

Nice pics SL - close ups are smashing. I wish I could grow these Choisya - your Mec is looking smashing. My little pink one has a flower just about to open but I'm not at all happy with them. I lost 1 of 3!

Lol Mouldy cheers mate, hope things do improve for you up there..

Thanks Sticki.

Thanks Scottish, yes the mex loves free draining and will handle any shade but they do hate moisture, poppies can be so unpredictable at times, my mec Horridula I had five but down to 3 now no reason why they died... Think they did it out of spite :-))
