today's Colour pt 3

Just some colour in the garden at the moment….

I got a job lot from T&M that were selling them off cheap, not bad i’m not normally a bedding type of person but these fill the gaps….

I forgot i had these, i got these from the pound shop…

I do like the mock orange, it’s a nice sight at the bottom of my garden, i also have two in the front too…

I’m not a euphorbia person until i saw this one, it’s called ’ E.Goldfoam ’ only seedlings at present but you can see the lovely rich red stems they have….

By the time i took this and uploaded it only a few mins, my Holly Naffed them!!! i tell you it’s a mission this year for me to have at least one…..

found this one on the petals, wasn’t doing much, so i left it alone, he’d gone time i went back… maybe something i said….

That’s about it for now, and i can see the rain is starting to come down again…. Oh well,

Thanks for looking :-))

I think they are very colourful. But maybe you should have killed that vine weevil. I hope you'll be able to have a few strawbs sometime :o)

lovely pics. The almost-black flowers fasciante me.

I've read that the mock orange is *the* most highly scented plant, and it's on my list for that reason alone. not sure about its eventual size, though, which is why there's a ? after it

it's a lovely scented shrub Fran, i keep mine pruned to about 8 feet, but they can get quite large...

lol my garden is nine feet "long" at the widest, and the poeple upstairs might object if anything grows too tall. But I've looked on Shoot! and there's a couple of varieties they say the max height is 1.5 metres, so I'll check those out.

I wasn't too sure about strongly scented plants in such a small place - I could really only have one scented plant, cos it'd overwhelm everything else, and the mix of different perfumes might not be totally harmonious. So I've been thinking about several lightly-scented plants. But, oh, I've wanted one of these for so long ...

Ok yes maybe the smaller variety would be better then, good luck :-)
