You should make them for that Garden Centre Louise and I went to - their scones are awful! Yours look deee--licious! Yummy! :-))

Recipe for Dottydaisy and all.
450g or 1lb of plain flour, 2 tsp of cream of tartar,1 tsp of bicarbonate of soda
4oz or 100g marg, 8 floz of milk,50g or 2 oz of caster suger. 100g or 4oz of sultanas. If you did cheese scones you would need the following, 100g or 4oz of grated cheese and 5ml = 1tsp of dried mustard.
This recipe makes 8.
Fan oven 210c for 9-12 mins
conv oven 230c 10-13 mins. Don't know about gas as I've never had one.

Lol Sandra....you would have laughted.Took Jane to Morrisons toda to stock up ( after spending 2 hours digging us out of the drive AGAIN ) Got to the cake section and she dived forward and grabbed...something nice for me ? No 2 packs of "value" scones for the birds ! Says it all.........

yes saw doves yesterday also saw robin briefly to, so at least they are still around ray,not seen them today as i was working, still leave them plenty to eat while im not here though :o)

Boredom set in here so I stripped and cleaned the oven, washed net curtains,cleaned inside of windows amongst other household jobs indoors, after seeing your blog I should have baked instead it looks far more rewarding, oh well more snow forecast so theres always tomorrow,lol......
