Lots of rain here too, a thunderstorm even.

At least you did something positive,Stripes,and your produce looks lovely.We have had two beautiful warm days here,although the heavens opened last evening,we had gone shopping,and it was so bad,we couldn't get out of the car when we got home.Just had a little shower tonight.

Lots of very heavy downpours for a few days here Stripes, thunder as well,mind you its beautiful between the showers,has really helped bring the garden back to life again because we were looking a bit sad and its too early for that autumn look.......

Lovely basket of produce, Stripes. We picked our first tomatoes to have with our meal last night and ate them still sun-warmed - mmmmm! We've been enduring blistering heat for over a week now - we'd love some of your rain! The grass on the meadow crunches when we walk on it! Luckily we have no such thing as hose-pipe bans so the garden's well watered, but rain would certainly help! Swap you for some sun?

Thank you all, runner beans were lovely with my pork chop and my potatoes....we've had rain on and off all day, haven't really done much out side today catching up with jobs indoors, washing and a pile of ironing, all done and put away.......

sorry about rain les, but you got jobs done and veg looks good to, we have had two lovely sunny days which im glad as we went to hubbys sisters wedding yesterday and today was so hot i got the garden done , filled the wheelie half way with prunning and dead heading and lawn, all ready for the family coming bank holiday for joe`s 18th ;o))

the wedding went really well les, and i ended up with a dress from m&s whcih i couldnt believe after trailing round numerous shops, calf lenght and summery patern, which i can wear again, luckerly had shoes and bag which i hadnt used because i didnt have anything to match, but now i have ;o)) sorrry your in for a bad week , not sure here as they said rain all weekend and its been hot and sunny lol, anyway hope you have a good week and get a break from rain ;o)
