In my town its been near 70F,21C..last year at this time it was COLD!. From drought for three years to walking over the property seeing how plants are reacting to the soaked grounds. Some are known to topple in wet soils.
So funny to feel it warm-well mild, and muggy in December.
Not much serious flooding here..mostly clogged storm drains backing up roads. Tree’s have toppled…but no Palm tree’s. A lesson there!

But others will be wondering how to cope with it all. You'd better keep away from the trees if it gets windy!

Here too it has been very mild for November, and it has felt strange being out in the garden without a coat, but happily for theplants its gone rather cooler now.

My garden doesn't know whether its coming or going, it has turned a lot colder in the past week, more in keeping for Dec and we have had a few frosty mornings, must say I do prefer the cold as its lighter, it gets you down when dull, dark and damp..

The lack of rains...and then heavy rains has been more then the bay area tree's can keep up with. San Francisco is battling a huge falling and splitting problem of those street Ficus nitida's that are over 60 years old. I'm sure those tree's not getting smaller branches snapped by storms the last few years created a top heavy tree forest.
Weather is so changeable lately!..drought and sunny..and now I think I'm in some tropical rainforest.
I have to get photos of the hill's greened up. I've read of them compared to Ireland and New Zealand when the golden state turns green.
Terry and Sandra- oh yeah!
Ster and Linc. I know what you mean..even under balmy weather..I want to sit in the sun,not the clouds or even that thin clouds. Blue sky's is hard to beat.
