Hi Steve ..
... pudding looks excellent !!!
I've added this blog to GoYpedia ...
I hope your plot dries up soon so that you can do some useful digging.

Ah well, at least you went and did something useful, while waiting for the water to recede. B&B pudding, love it!

The weather here in Essex has not been too bad. Odd days of heavy rain, but mostly it has been mild. Although we garden on clay, the heavy rain does not cause much of a problem because it is dry for for most of the year. The bread and butter pudding looks fabulous. My husband is a much better cook than me.

Yes extra ponds here in my part of Lincs many of which are on the roads as well as in the gardens, 4.20 pm and the sun is trying to break through, it won't win as its still raining as well.....

Not much rain here, although the ground is always wet. Somebody told me that we live in a dry area of Greater London. It might be some truth, because every time I visit my daughters, one in Colindale and one Finchley, only a few miles from here, the rain is always heavier and more persistent.

Hi Snoopy, I don't usually do any digging on my clay soil, until the end of feb or early march, but then again I don't do veg, Derek.

yes wet here in se London, but not as bad as you appear to be affected. I hope it all clears very soon. My heart goes out to all those poor people affected by the floods. at least you can enjoy your pudding.

I'm with you, Diane! We are getting more snow! The wind makes it feel like minus 30-something out doors...birds huddle at the feeders looking depressed. I'm sitting at my computer looking at U.K. goy pics...trying not to be depressed! Hope this extra water translates into a moist growing season. Poor California and Australia...drought and wildfires. ;-(
