You not a little too late to germinate them? I germinated mine back in April. Coming into flower now.

Well i was thinking i might be a little late but then summer is not summer and winter is never that cold anymore (the seasons have been put in a blender and hey presto it snows in spring sometimes and sun out in winter lol so i thought id see how they do hahahaha At least if they do flower i'll be a little more happier lol.. For now tho they have already grown another 2mm since last night... Huge downpour after a dry few days so they are loving it :-D It was only a very cheap pack of seeds so im happy with any thing hahahahaha

If you have a greenhouse or sunny window then I would put them in there for a few weeks to speed things along. As it is July plants do grow quickly.

Im actually shocked that after our downpour i went out to get them and they are over 1cm tall already.. I know plants grown faster but this is quite amazing.. My stocks are growing too hehehe

And no problem Nana d :-D .... Oh im excited and i normally only get over excited over my boots hahahahahaha

All i can say is the seasons are not as they used to be.. think lat year our 1st frost was end of dec/jan up to then it was like normal.. not as hot as now but wasnt exactly cold so i know cosmos are ok untill the big freeze then they dont like the cold (apparently) :-D
Im just happy i have a big kitchen.. unfortunately our family dinner table is now full of plants growing ect so having to sit in our frontroom to eat hahahaha
Ah well its only for a short(ish) period of time :-D

I leave each years Cosmos in the garden to self seed Jane, so you only have to grow them once...and such pretty pastel colours...There is a Chocolate that some of the GOYers grow, but you'll have to get the seeds for that one....
